Rick Pitino - Head Coach at St John’s University!!!

Our fan base has ben sleeping on Luis all summer. He will be our leading scorer. Big time NBA upside.
Huh? He's the most lauded recruit relative to ranking in recent memory. It's actually kind of wild how everyone is so high on him. I think it's just me saying pump the brakes year one, and even I readily post that he has the most well-rounded game of any of the new additions. When I look at all the roster combinations next year...he's in almost all of them similar to how I saw the team after Brownlee's junior year. My thinking is that a kid like Alleyne, even though his game is INCREDIBLY limited, just has too much experience on good teams and is too good of a shooter and defender.

I thought Taylor would be next in line, but every photo and video I see of him it's becoming clear he's a goofball (in a good way) and probably a great teammate...but not the killer someone like LJ was. You knew within five minutes of the first scrimmage LJ had a different mindset.

Looks a lot different from today with Daniss Jenkins at PG. Offense runs smoother. The team is two deep at every position. Today Glenn Taylor stood out. Every practice a different player impressed. There are a lot of parts and I trust Coach Pitino to blend them into a cohesive unit.
One more interesting observation. After practice is over, no one runs to the locker room. They all stay around to put up extra shots.

Btw to piggy back on what Panther says and we all know he’s goes to more practices than anyone abd this comes directly from a current coach and not in bad say this was pre September that not one guy other than Joel has taken over. That’s not a bad thing irs exactly what Panther said each day a guy has a great day. Now it’s go time they are leading Rick and he’s learning them. They play. Lot of gane situations with the ball. That IMO just in life muscle memory. Every year we say we will get better. But this time we really will

I know who. We will all like this very much.
