Would assume Pitino and staff wouldn't be wasting their time setting up the visit for him if they knew they couldn't compete with whatever NIL offers he already has on the table

Every school that ever forfeited games and revenue because of ANY FORM of payments to players should be entitled to reparations from the NCAA!
In fact, as a result of the current wild west that the NCAA has created it is fair to ask "why do colleges even need the NCAA any longer?"

Let's be honest about pre-NIL though (not directed to you). Would his price range be any different before then? At least now its legal and somewhat transparent compared to before when everyone lied about it.
