Point being, 3 years at a high major level is considerable sample size of quality shooting.

It could have been the adjustment from being a starter at VT and slightly forcing things when in the game at Uconn. New role and new team.
I love all the post season experience he has and at 6'4" he has great size for a guard.

The senior guard was a valuable rotation piece for the Huskies as they won the national title last season, but his career averages dipped last year compared to his previous three seasons with Virginia Tech.

Now, Alleyne will take his veteran experience to St. John’s University, according to a post he shared on his Twitter account. Alleyne has proven his ability to play at the highest level, and will give St. John’s a talented defender and career 37 percent three-point shooter.

Maybe, maybe not. They're best friends and both went to St. John's together. I believe I read something along the lines of that they could be a package deal when they hit the transfer portal

Wusu may need to end up at one of the schools connected to a recent shooting so fighting with a team manager doesn't look nearly as egregious.

Not really, my expectation is adding more impact guys year 2. Anything over that is gravy this year,
Big East will be a bear again

Making the Tourney is not a great stretch from 18-15. A few less undisciplined plays, a connected team ,a few more made foul shots, better basketball sense will give you 3-5 wins more! 22-11 could be tourney material as Creighton proved this year. Don’t count it out for a Pitino coached team!

Unfortunately, I think the time for Posh coming back has passed. I am a huge Posh fan but if the door was ever open I sense it has likely closed by now.

It’s a totally different team except one guy.
No idea how we will be but last years team has no bearing on this year team as far as win improvement.
