Let’s also not forget that Soriano was first team big east and a double double machine. He’ll also be 24? and will now be coached up by Rick pitino (getting a lot of individual attention now!). I think if you simply dropped Soriano on last years iona team, they would probably get an at large. So I’m still not lowering my expectation of being on the right side of the bubble next year. That should be the goal even if pitino has to quickly build the team—that’s certainly what he’s getting paid for.
