This is a kid I want. 6’9 stretch 4 can play the 3, good three point shooter. , former Louisville kid.
That must have been one hell of a piss. Kohler or Toto?See, that is what I was worried about right there. Rick will adjust and whoever he gets they will be well coached. But yes cutting everyone loose was a mistake! He thought I can do better, I am Rick Pitino. But the suck of ST John’s seems to be more powerful than a HOF coach.
We will be as good as we possibly can be but first year May be rough.
I agree with most of this post, but have to say I’m surprised by the extent of Pitino’s initial struggles on the recruiting trail. I do think with success (not to mention improvements with our facilities) recruiting will get easier. That’s why I was so keen on keeping our core players and being selective in the portal this year. Enjoy success next year and recruiting gets a whole lot easier.I slept with between 25 and 30 women in my time. If I had a big ego I'd say there are plenty of 20 and 30 something hotties lined up ready and willing to have a good time with me any day now.. The reality is those days are long gone. Then, again, I don't have Rick's ego.
Anyone who follows college basketball...and top professionals...will tell you there's no one in America who can out coach Rick. He's the best in the business. He won't forget how to coach. He won't forget how to be driven. He'll always be relentless.
The problem is his ego got out of hand. No one, anywhere, in any business, would get rid of virtually every one of their employees with no one waiting in the wings to replace them. Rick made a huge mistake. He's not infallible as many posters who worship at his feet believe. Rick will bring in good players...not great players...and he'll work them to a point where he'll probably make the dance next season. Virtually all of you know he could have done it with our guys. Instead, he hurt them and he rattled his new fan base. He doesn't realize young, hot ball players aren't lining up for him, anymore. Ships sail. You have to learn your limitations.
Right now, swallow your pride and reach out to our guys and humbly ask them to return.
a direct feed, sometimes they beat his tweets, sometimes not.Where did Zach say that?
you, me, and 2 'whoever's'. Gotta laugh.Getting this thread back on track, has Coach Pitino landed any transfers yet officially? Outside of Joel Soriano who will be the other 4 starters next season ?
You can’t be serious. This is a kid I want. 6’9 stretch 4 can play the 3, good three point shooter. , former Louisville kid.
(He’s a career .311 three point shooter and shot .290 in his 7 games last year.)This is a kid I want. 6’9 stretch 4 can play the 3, good three point shooter. , former Louisville kid.
Not to mention, who is the person(s) telling him that? A few of those dumbasses on Twitter?BS. Every coach before Pitino has been able to bring in talent. Maybe not a full team in one cycle but that also falls at the feet of Pitino.
He still has time but enough with the excuses.
Certainly good points all … But , you have forgotten to mention that it wasn’t only on Court BB issues that Rick was dealing with last years team . We all knew there was a great deal of dysfunction going on with Curbelo , Pinzon ,etc . And, if you recall also there were Classroom issues that both , Fr Shanley and Rick alluded to in their pressers . Those are equally serious issues and not just BB related . It would be fool hardy to invite back players who may or may not have off Court issues with the University . None of us know these things and we shouldn’t know them .I slept with between 25 and 30 women in my time. Of course I have no inside info but the class room issues strike me as a pretext to justify Anderson’s “for cause” termination.Certainly good points all … But , you have forgotten to mention that it wasn’t only on Court BB issues that Rick was dealing with last years team . They are person specific and not for public Airing . So , for some of those players , it wasn’t just BB that Pitino was alluding to . Invite back players from a 8 th place , dysfunctional team ? Why would any Coach do that .
You say "We all knew there was a great deal of dysfunction" Maybe with Curbelo and Pinzon...no one knows anything about the others. Classroom issues? I don't know. Do you? This is like the "are you still beating your wife?" question you'd like to ask as a reporter...but there's a presumption there.Certainly good points all … But , you have forgotten to mention that it wasn’t only on Court BB issues that Rick was dealing with last years team . Hey gotta go for it. We can offer a starting spot at PF in the Big East under Rick Pitino’s tutelage. It will certainly appeal to some top players. As I said in another thread, we land one or two better players and things will start falling into place. In other news, I have reached out to Margot Robbie to see if she'd like to go on a date.
You should reach out to a so-so Iona cheerleader just in case her NIL is too high. I’d that doesn’t work out, get the poster Marco Baldi in for a visit. In other news, I have reached out to Margot Robbie to see if she'd like to go on a date.
After today it’s gone to 86 drink minimum prior to tryouts… those are the rules
...and guys would be griping if Rick hadn't reached out.In other news, I have reached out to Margot Robbie to see if she'd like to go on a date.
I have no idea, but speculate that the feedback he received in regard to existing players was poor. In my opinion that is why he cleaned house. It is only an opinion as I have no knowledge of why he cut them all loose. That is why he only mentioned Soriano and Traore at his press conference. I am not blindly following him but trust he will get us in a position to compete and get the program stronger than it has been in the last 30 years.I slept with between 25 and 30 women in my time.
