We either Zuby or Ware and we are ready to go!We need to get greedy now.
One ‘ship left. Imagine if we can get a guy like this.
Don’t know if this is the “guy” but I trust they are working hard to put the bow on the box. Let’s go!

I understood from the start where you were coming from with our former players. But instead of sounding jaded, you seem like more of a romantic. Between the transfer rules and NIL, college basketball is more a business than ever. Players are constantly looking for the better opportunity, and many have left this program for what they believed were greener pastures. Whether it's St. John's or another school, college sports fans get used to constant turnover of the rosters. The old days are long gone. We all enjoy the players and appreciate their contributions, but it's the love of the program that is the constant and keeps us coming back, no matter the roster or the coach. The "diatribe" is coming from your end. You can let it go already.
We're talking about college kids. I remember the excitement I had when I got my letter of congratulations from St John's. I'm sure the young men who have been told to move on and their parents enjoyed the same excitement. Don't forget, we're all human beings. I dropped out...ended up somehow in Vietnam...then returned to graduate a bit more jaded. Thankfully, I kept my sense of humanity. I think my posts reflected that. I understand disappointment. I'm sure these young men will land on their collective feet.
That being said, Father Shanley and Rick Pitino did something no one else could do since Looie left. That's to make St John's basketball relevant again. Now it's back to losing sleep before games and after rare losses.
Coach Pitino is now in the driver's seat for his last pick! It could be a power player who can play either position when Soriano is in foul trouble or a possible starter type that can play the 3/4 when Pitino wants to go small and fast. Now we can take our time and get best possible player with that last spot. We have a deep and talented roster. Add a real good 4/5 and we are willing.
I’d like a starter-type 4/5 who can take the reins at one of those positions next year.Coach Pitino is now in the driver's seat for his last pick! Julian Phillips just entered the portal who is a 6'8 former MD AA 5 star. There are a few others.
Exciting time!!!
Have them making tournament and winning a game. If that is considered negative don’t know what to tell you.Best advice I can give is to avoid Boo Harvey’s and Larry Wright’s posts.
I do not know Ayo at all but after reading the Post article I was intrigued enough to ask around a bit. In some ways that feedback eerily reminded me of Earlington when he first signed with SJU. I predicted nothing but knowing him I cautioned people about underestimating him because of his incredible drive and work ethic. I got that same vibe from a couple of people who know or know of Ayo. Never sit on or underestimate those willing to truly put in the work and then some.Rick by the way is always thinking of secondary value of landing a kid, AYO & Dingle adds are obviously positives re NY Lightning program relationship.
Sounds good, as long as this mess of a market doesn’t rub off on SJU.Once Rick signs his final recruit he should be ringing the closing bell on the stock exchange
Sorry always love the info. What is the avatar mean? Unless it's trying to one up Maher post, rubbing a guy for paragraphs (I get it, still funny), or asking about a channel where it is clearly in the subject line, I generally don't much read every post for my heart condition.Rick by the way is always thinking of secondary value of landing a kid, AYO & Dingle adds are obviously positives re NY Lightning program relationship.
It's also an even more key part of roster building in this day and age. Next year, we're losing at least six guys and that's not counting the inevitable surprise transfer. It's going to be great to have guys with a strong work ethic like Ayo, Dunlap, etc. be able to slot right in for the next couple of years.I do not know Ayo at all but after reading the Post article I was intrigued enough to ask around a bit. And I think I f'd the paragraphs plus but that is why I am in math.

You're like the kid who cried all the way to the beach and then when you get there... "this is where I wanted to be all along. not sure why everyone is looking at me"... Carry on...Have them making tournament and winning a game. If that is considered negative don’t know what to tell you.
Our team’s Ft shooting average is over 79% from the stripe on paper. We should have a veritable field day at the stripe this year.I know that this seems small in relation to what's going on, but am I the only one here who won't hold his breath when one of our guys goes to the charity stripe anymore?
