Would say 17-19 wins for Pitino. Not sure what you are expecting but I guess anyone who says less than Sweet 16 is anti Rick.

Unlike 95% of posters on here I admit never saw Dingle play one second. Is he the difference maker if he comes that puts us into tournament? I have no idea.
I hope so. And again I am first guessing. No matter what happens I won’t bash Pitino during the season and hope any concerns I voiced are proven ridiculous.

No, Dingle is a scoring ball dominant guard and Luis is a wing who would likely play the three.

Not even exaggerating, I've been more excited this off-season than I was at any point the last few years... maybe even going back to the early Lavin years. I thought pre-season that CMA would be out and didn't think the team would make the Tournament, but I wasn't confident that St. John's would make the right hire. I told some friends/family last pre-season that Pitino may be interested if CMA didn't pan out and I'm thrilled that dream scenario is actually playing out.

Most exciting off-season ever for any of the teams that I follow.

Not a complaint and good problem to have but would have RJ, Alleyne and Taylor fighting over the 3 and whatever left over mins at guard spot.

Funny!!! you don't have an opinion on Dingle who you admit you've never seen play, but had a STRONG opinion on every other player who signed on are we missed out on..... and you've never seen them play either!!!

I think starting wise it would be Dingle and Alleyne. Jenkins would back up Pg spot. Taylor Jr is a senior so he’d probs start at the 3. Luis has 3 years eligibility, Dunlap 4. Luis gets the nod and I expect some smaller lineups, with all our wings out there: Pitino won’t have a problem giving these guys the minutes they need. Lots of talent here.

My main and really only criticism is replacing the whole team with Mid Major kids
