Rick’s Targets

Jordan Dingle was the Ivy league player of the year at Penn this past season. He is a 6' 3" shooting guard that averaged over 23 points a game during the 2022-2023 season, which was second best in the nation.

Jordan is the son of Dana Dingle who was a UMass starter for John Calipari's final four team in the mid nineties. Dana Dingle is currently the co-director of the NY Lightning a very successful Long Island based AAU program. The Lightning had both Posh and Dylan play for them before they moved on to play at SJU.

I assumed there was a Dana connection. Not that common a name. Now that I'm more then 3 pages into my reengagement with RM.com I'm much more informed. LOL

Is Mo Keita out of consideration to backup Soriano?
With how good the bigs are in this conference some nights you might need 15-20 mins from your backup C in some games if Soriano gets in foul trouble or is hobbled or something. If our backup C is getting eaten alive in those mins then it's lights out. No clue where Keita is health wise and how far ahead he is in his development, he can end up being a more than competent backup or a zero.

I’m hopeful Pitino can make a player out of Keita.

Mckenzie Mgbako, high school senior 6' 8 forward from New Jersey a must as a big forward for SJU...Let's hope Ric lands him.
