I’d add that McKenzie also already has an NIL deal in place so he can likely afford to choose a school that gets him the most PT and exposure. It’s not a bad place to be both for him, and maybe even for us because we can offer Pitino and a starting spot

This is the right take to have right now. But we should still be happy we got a 5 star kid to rep our Jersey even if it’s for a shoot.

Seems Glenn Taylor announcement on Monday is the more imminent thing to have our attention on.

I remember sitting in the Garden at a classic SJU/Georgetown game with Mullin and Ewing. Nothing like that atmosphere. Haven’t seen it or felt that excitement since. So am I hanging on the ledge, YES! If it doesn’t happen with Pitino, it won’t happen in my lifetime.
