So the results so far match the expectations you had a month ago? If you say yes you’re lying to yourself. All I’m saying is that I thought we would’ve done better by now.

I'll go out on a limb and say results, to date, match no one's expectations and have been derailed because recruits are, TO A LARGE DEGREE, chasing NIL-$'s.
That said, the point being made is, it's premature to judge a transfer's playing creds by the conference /team he has played for.
Prominent high major programs have been pursuing the same mid-major guys we are.
I trust that Rick will assemble a competitive team at this cycle's end.

The board would have be much less lively because there wouldn’t have been the lofty expectations that come with guaranteeing someone 30M.

there also would have been a lot less talk about ‘culture’, ‘system’, and ‘basketball iq’.

I think we’d probably have up to 3 less Iona transfers to talk about.

So yeah it would be fairly different board.

The fact is that the recruiting results to date have been underwhelming, that is nothing but the truth. Hopefully things change for the better in the next 3-4 weeks. I am still very hopeful.
