Rick’s Targets

You do realize that Clayton Jr. Is better than any player who has decided to enter the portal from our team.

And I don’t think it is even close.

Everyone on here is in love with Storr (he can shoot) but let’s face it he was cringeworthy trying to create his own shot driving to basket this year and he was absolutely atrocious all year long on the defensive end.

I am tied of a team of one trick ponies.
Two weeks ago no one here ever heard of Clayton 😂

A st johns fan questioning rick pitino. Its laughable.
No one is questioning his coaching. Seems like he came in here saying I am Rick Pitino I can do anything. Fran came in and got Mahoney players to tournament. Jarvis got Fran players to the Elite 8. To make tournament next year think Rick could have used a player or 3 of Anderson players.
Let’s see what happens and I am probably wrong but seems Pitino is totally misjudging how hard it is to win here.
Thank you MR
Very negative LW
and imho
needlessly so.
It’s April 8th 2023.
Tomorrow is coincidentally Easter
Let the man (HC) work his miracles as he’s always done. Both of the men/Men
One Human and One Sacred

We have been so mediocre for so long
High probability we’ll be better
Likely much better than 2000-2023

Most experts say this us a home run hire
He recruits, coaches, wins
He’s imperfect but possibly the GOAT
Who is anyone of we mere posters to critique, second guess now.
Unless as a half hearted gesture and I’m a poor gullible reader.
It’s been a few weeks since the hire
Not millennia
AD not BC
Blessings, Happy Holiday

3,345 career points for the Meyer kid. Things can go either way with super-small school kids: They are either overwhelmed in college, or being triple-teamed throughout prep career helps them adjust pretty quickly. Size doesn't look bad either. Without know staff's order of priorities, I'm unsure what my feelings should be as of right now.

Rick and staff have been following this Kentucky shooter for a while. Pitino had already offered him while at Iona.
Need kids like this on the bench that can develop over time to be snippers when needed.
Thanks for this, Rocket.
Kid has great stats / highlights, went to a small H.S., couldn't find anything on him and is unranked, but maybe a KY hoops saga in embryo.
Lol.

Can’t complain if he’s willing to fight for minutes, be a great teammate but likely be at the end of the bench.

Maybe you didn’t but let’s not make a broad statement. Last time I checked Iona did not play in Alaska

And to add a buddy of mine is an Iona graduate and I have been well aware of Clayton for the last year and a half. He has come up plenty of times when busting my balls about how St. John’s stinks and can’t develop players

My brief search on Meyer…seems like he was committed to Western KY at some point but opened it up. Pitino offered him at Iona over the winter. Not sure who else is involved. Considering Rick’ history in KY, he must have a good feel on Meyer’s ability.
Think there was 'some' interest from East Carolina, Coastal Carolina, Austin Peay, Ball State, and Bowling Green.

So now we just transfer them in from mid majors.

Man, I said the same about Storr all year and I was crucified on here
