Forgot to mention that we signed one of the greatest college basketball coaches of all time. But I guess that doesn’t matter.

Well see that is the point. If this wasn’t Pitino you couldn’t get away with this. And at this point questioning him is fair considering he hasn’t done anything but get rid of people.
And even if he gets the uninspiring names being mentioned I have no doubt we will be well coached and play hard, if he needs to go to plan B or C however we will be the best coached terrible team in the country.

That’s an upgrade from just the terrible team we were anyway. I’m from the camp of just letting the man do his job, rebuild and enjoy the ride. Zero doubt be will be more successful than in the past. He’s hungrier than us fans are, I can promise you that.

You do realize that Clayton Jr. Is better than any player who has decided to enter the portal from our team.

And I don’t think it is even close.

Everyone on here is in love with Storr (he can shoot) but let’s face it he was cringeworthy trying to create his own shot driving to basket this year and he was absolutely atrocious all year long on the defensive end.

I am tied of a team of one trick ponies.

No one is questioning his coaching. Seems like he came in here saying I am Rick Pitino I can do anything. Fran came in and got Mahoney players to tournament. Jarvis got Fran players to the Elite 8. To make tournament next year think Rick could have used a player or 3 of Anderson players.
Let’s see what happens and I am probably wrong but seems Pitino is totally misjudging how hard it is to win here.

And the thought of Clayton Jr. further developing his already impressive skill set for 2 more years under Pitino is tantalizing. Praying he signs on and becomes the pied piper for Pitino

Storr also threw anton of weak passes that got picked off. I screamed at the TV at least 3x a game about it.

See and that is pie in the sky. Really good player and I think he will be fine in BE. But until he does it in a major conference you just don’t know. And as far as other players coming here because he did….well I think you are vastly overeating that impact.

lol we are still living our heyday with 1 final 4 appearance back in the 80’s. We have zero perspective. Out new coach eats Final Four’s for breakfast lol. Time to stop worrying.

Again do I have to write this disclaimer before every post: Rick Pitino is best college basketball coach of my lifetime. I can’t believe he actually agreed to come to this hellhole of a college basketball program.
It is ok to question what the hell he is doing however.
So far has been the equivalent of bringing home Paulina Gretzky and having her eat all of the food in your fridge and then take a dump in your living room. I am sure will have good times soon but she better get naked soon.

We agree to disagree on Clayton. I believe Pitino and myself will be proven right. I will go as far as to say he will be in the NBA someday too.

He is freakishly athletic and can shoot it well from 3 and the free throw line. That is the NBA 2023

I would take Clayton any day of the week and twice on Sunday over Storr or Posh. And I love Alexander and the way he plays balls to the wall game in and game out.

No one is really worried. Its just posh fans needing to be angry cause pitino sent him packaging.
 
And as Marillac said in another thread, Clayton and Posh would be able to play together.

Clayton can shoot the 3 well unlike the space cadet who played next to Posh this year.

I think I figured it out. I think there was a game Earlington's last season here when Earlington and a few others were subbed out for Posh and some others who were on the bench resting and Mullins Revenge has never forgiven Posh because he thinks Earlington should have been playing point guard
