Repole on the radio
Just got out of a meeting. Any way to hear the interview?
I assume by tomorrow the station's site will have it up. But this one was so good they may have their web guy do a rush job.

The SJU board is a great example of why major U. S. Corporations hold elections, publish the names and histories of their members and how long their term is.
Just to play devil's advocate. Is this airing out of dirty laundry really a good thing? Makes the school look like a joke and disaster to the casual listener.
Mike is apeaking the and yes we are a f'ing joke, i love repoli speaking out.
Everyone should understand why we haven't mattered in 20 years.
Its about time this came out on the radio

It took the Post less than an hour to get the article out on St. John’s being a national embarrassment. When the dust settles Repole will have made a big mistake doing this. He has the money to weather it. I just hope this doesn’t destroy the program.

Administration has destroyed the program. We have hit rock bottom. Time for change. Kudos to Repole.

Don't wait. Changes don't happen when people aren't upset. A month from now if they are still calling the shots they will have weathered the storm and will continue to call the shots. We've seen that movie and know how it ends.

Is it good to air dirty laundry on national radio. No. Will there be negative repercussions? Absolutely. But, the mom and pop culture has been there for decades and showed no signs of going away. It was not going to be fixed with a hope and a prayer. We've had 6 consecutive coaching hires that not ended well. Something has to give. Your're worried that we could become DePaul? I've got news for you. We're ALREADY DePaul.

People think this is a bad thing but these idiots have been holding us down for long enough. Nothing was going to get better without Repole coming out like this. It’s fantastic. Only way to fix things is to get new people in that don’t mettle. Things are rotten to the core. Time for an upheaval, even if it means taking steps back before moving forward.

Repole peeled the paint off the walls. That was insane. I have never heard a radio interview like that. An all timer.

It's no secret Mike Repole and Bobby Gempesaw haven't gotten along for years. Mike Cragg had tried to bring Repole back in the mix. #sjubbZach B

As of last night, Mike Repole had distanced himself from the search and the school. Wanted to go big after Moser turned them down. #sjubb

Idea St. John's low-balled Bobby Hurley, sources from both sides, said was not accurate. He likes life out west and got a new contract. #sjubb

Think he is correct on this.

I don’t see how any of you can be upset with what Repole did he spoke the truth and because he did so live on the radio and is a person of importance this can not be swept under the rug. I am glad he made the administration look foolish they deserve it they are doing a terrible job! As far as being concerned with this causing us to sink lower how the hell much lower can we possibly sink right now it’s us and DePaul and you know what the future at DePaul looks better then ours right now!

On the interview, you could sense he still wanna be a part of the search, if given a chance. At least it seemed that way to me.

We are going to need Mike Repole more than ever now. He obviously love the university and wants a change. I hope he stays persistent in his push for change. I know all of us redmen.com’ers feel this way and want the change as well. SJU is a bad job only because we have idiots like Harrington formerly and now Gempesaw and Oliva running things behind the scenes with no actual qualifying ability to do anything but obstruct and mettle.
