As a huge johnnie fan maybe I was wrong about throwing in the towel as far as making the dance is concern. I have just been so disappointed all season and I was talking out of anger after the DePaul game . WHEN we win tonight this could be the spark that gets out season back on track . 12-6 conference record still gets us in the dance and that record is really possible. It starts with tonight !!!!! St. John's for life !!!

I remember a Looie team that started 12 and 11 in 79 and nearly made the Final Four if Reggie Carter did not foul out
In my eyes the first MUST win of the conference season as its the first home game against a team outside the big three in conference. There have only been about 8 home losses in the entire BE so far this year. Take away losses to Creighton, Nova and Xavier and here's what you got:
Providence lost at home to the Hall in 2OT
Butler lost at home to DePaul in 2OT and to GTown in OT
That's IT! BE teams have to hold serve against the teams in the bottom 7 at home. End of Story. Conor, the lone bad loss continues to be Penn St. There are no REAL bad road losses in the BE only good road wins. STJ doesn't have a good win yet, in or out of conference. Time to start collecting some. Team must win 6 of the next 8 to even be close to what we should expect from here on out.

Hey Salty... unfortunately this isn't 1979; that was some 35 years ago.
The final season record for this season's StJohns men's basketball team will approximate 16 wins and 15 losses overall and 7 wins and 11 losses in the Big East.
I'm going to the Dartmouth game this weekend, and I've never been to Carnessecca.
Here is your guide to Carnesseca Arena
Prepare for back/ass pain the next day.
Wear layers since the odds are as good as Phil Greene killing a fast break that it will be 100 degrees inside.
Concessions lines will be long and slow.
Music during timeouts will cause you to go deaf and not hear the person next to you.
Make sure you don't have metal objects as you must enter thru metal detectors more stringent than any other arena I've been to including games a President has been at.
Did I miss anything guys?

#SJUBB Starters: F Sanchez, F Sampson, C Achiuwa, G Harrison, G Jordan. First time with this lineup all season, going big.
I'd say be open to anything, since we've shown up in varying degrees and lengths in recent games. I'm thinking we will win this game. If not virtually all hopes for 11 wins would be gone. The season isn't destroyed yet, but they are standing on the edge of a cliff. Good players respond. let's see what they do.
Who is going tonight?
Curious, who has tickets but is bailing?
