Providence

Gameday!!

Season not going to well but still extremely excited for tonight! Can you believe it's been 18 days since we tasted an SJU victory!

One game at a time now and it starts at 7 tonight!

Go redmen

Okay, you teenager going on 40 year old pain in the butt. I was starting to doubt you after your posts immediately following the DePaul game. Glad to see you are back on track!

When's the last time we lost a game at CA? Was it Asheville?

Yes. We were unbeaten in the building for 2013.

Lets hang a banner for that!

When I was in school and they started posting these banners that had things like "NIT finalist 19XX", we discussed making some banners and slipping into Alumni Hall late one evening. Each Square would say "Choke Classic - Champions 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964, etc, etc to the then present year

I get down after losses, I need a few days to digest it but then I'm good. I'm confident this team will come out pissed and win. Hope I am right

I'd say be open to anything, since we've shown up in varying degrees and lengths in recent games. I'm thinking we will win this game. If not virtually all hopes for 11 wins would be gone. The season isn't destroyed yet, but they are standing on the edge of a cliff. Good players respond. let's see what they do.

Who is going tonight?

Curious, who has tickets but is bailing?

I'll be there. Section 3, row FF.

I still do, and always will, enjoy myself at the games, even though it doesn't always come across like it.

I'm going to the Dartmouth game this weekend, and I've never been to Carnessecca.

Here is your guide to Carnesseca Arena
Prepare for back/ass pain the next day.
Wear layers since the odds are as good as Phil Greene killing a fast break that it will be 100 degrees inside.
Concessions lines will be long and slow.
Music during timeouts will cause you to go deaf and not hear the person next to you.
Make sure you don't have metal objects as you must enter thru metal detectors more stringent than any other arena I've been to including games a President has been at.

Did I miss anything guys?

i have 2 extra -free-tickets if anyone is interested you can pick them up from my office in East Williamsburg before 5pm

Ideally this would be the game to use some sort of pressure because Cotton is the only ball handler. He plays all 40 minutes because they dont really have any other guards. The downside is they shoot free throws very well so we have to keep them off the line

I'll be there. Giving up on the season is not in my vocabulary.

Going as usual. I think we win, but key is keeping Batts, Henton off the boards. They killed us last year in that area. I'm glad Dunn is not playing. He got a ton of rebounds in the game at PC. Man do we rebound poorly. If Lav thinks our so called depth will wear down Cotton, think again. He has endurance of a marathon runner.

If you are sitting in either section that is courtside...prepare to be yelled at if you stand/clap/cheer as fans would...the guys down there typically enjoy the game in a seated fashion with the polite golf clap after a made basket.
