Did anyone else see how Harrison left the court and didnt go to the handshake line.... that does not bode well for this team. At the end of this season we could be in for a long long long off season.

You really need to shut your mouth now. After a guy gets suspended the easy thing would've been to transfer, instead he works his ass off and comes back scores 19 a game and you bash him get lost please

He doesn't call offensive sets.
He doesn't properly call timeouts.
He sits guys for no reason.
He allows guys to play out of control and keeps them in.
He cannot make in-game adjustments.
His players don't box out.
His players buy every head fake.

Lavin got no clue takes Sampson out for Hooper on D, Hooper does not box out gives up o bound and foul . Just one of many coaching mistakes.

Open ur eyes...his attitude hasnt changed and his shooting has been abysmal.
 
Wow. What an exciting game. It is pretty clear that we are likely to get blown out on the road, but, if we play well, can hang in with Seton Hall at home. I would like to see us in a 5 team conference with us, SH, Providence, Butler and of course Depaul. Every game would be a nail biter. Isn't this better than watching us get blown out at Georgetown? Got to give Lavin credit subbing Hopper for Jakarr. Well, would have been a great move if we were up 7, and Providence needed to foul whoever touched it. But it was a bonehead move up 1 with almost 30 seconds to go. Cooley must have been salivating. Let Hooper catch, trap, and watch the rest unfold as expected. Imagine how Bourgault must feel. He must be talking to himself, saying "coach thinks Hooper is better than me?" That's OK. Coach will sign a shooter over the summer from overseas that shoots 96% on his facebook page.

Scary thing really is...Lavin's best season was with Norm's players.

They play like they're at a playground. Simply put.
 
I am always positive but I paid very close attention to his substitutions tonight ( or lack of ANY in last 15 minutes). Honestly, mind boggling. Where did Sampson go at end? You have hooper in on a defensive set and taking an in bounds pads when he can't dribble?!?! Not playing Jordan is a joke. Even if you sit him for 10 minutes, you have to bring him in to handle ball. I am convinced tonight Lavin is confused or really needs an EXTREMLY strong assistant that he listens to. I guess he deserves to coach these guys as seniors but it really is hard to be positive at this point. He is not putting them in a position to win.
 
Wow. This is just about as embarrassing as the post-Jarvis years. Our "coach" should start worrying about his job. He is an absolutely horrible coach. There isn't one aspect of the game he coaches well.

and, how does Lavin not recruit a kid like Harris, a local kid who can shoot.. BUT, i guess Pointer is more the Lavin type player..Lavin hates shooters, prefers slashers who miss lay ups.nd, play matador defense, like GREENE.

Serious question for those who know, have we had a chance with any of the Harris kids? And isn't there a youngest one still in HS?
 
I'm trying my best to bite my tongue...why go balls to the wall to recruit a 5-star PG and then do this to him?

This isn't junior high school, this is 0-fer in Big East play on your home court. Why? What are you trying to prove? Why wouldn't you play him?
