@Providence, Sat. Mar. 3, 12 NOON, FOX SN (YES?), 570AM

This is the bad PC so far today. If we had Trimble & Yakwe healthy, we'd have a shot even w/o Shamorie. Unfortunately, we don't have enough players.

Ball handling with Simon and Clark awful-6 turnovers.

Owens having himself quite the half. Rest of the guys have to step it up to get this win. Game is certainly there for us to win. Would be a hell of a confidence boost going into the BE Tourney.

To the contrary, given the fact that he plays as many minutes as he does I think Simion is doing a very good job.

Owens with 12 points and 2 fouls at the half. Ahmed also with 2 fouls.

Owens picked up his second foul just before halftime due to a defensive blunder by Alibegovic. Owens let him know about it too. That was huge as Owens has been playing great today.

You think his passing is one of his strengths?

That, along with shooting form, are his weaknesses. Both very correctable. Today, those bad passes cost us 6 points. We should be leading at the half.
He is a great athlete and can go 40 every game but tiday, no Ponds, Simon will struggle in second half if Cooley pressures the ball.

Simon makes great passes (perfect alley oop to Owens in first half) but he also makes a number of careless passes. He has 7 assists and 4 turnovers in first half. Having said that, he is a warrior and we are so incredibly lucky to have him!

Yes but what we're asking out of him is extremely unreasonable! Playing 40 minutes every night, make something out of nothing on every possession. I'm not one bit upset at his play. Heck he's not even a true point guard and we're asking him to be one.

+1. Agree 100%.

When you ask a player to do as much as we ask Simon to do turnovers are bound to happen.

For comparison sake the best player on the planet Lebron James is averaging more than four turnovers a game this year (see below). The true stat that matters is assists to turnover ratio. Simon has almost a 2 to 1 ratio this season. Pretty damned good if you ask me
