True, but we are referring to THIS game. No big deal since the team is down to 5 players. And......another turnover by Simon.

EDIT. ..2 more turnover passes by Simon leading to a foul by Alibegovic. In this game, it's not the minutes but court awareness by Justin that is killing a chance at a miracle win with 5 guys.
Totally forgivable under the circumstances.

Not only is Ponds out, Trimble is also not playing. Simon being asked to do the impossible by necessity this game as only guard. He's going to have a lot of turnovers, but I can't fault him much under the circumstances.
 
Today is no different from the Butler game. Ponds and Trimble were not available, but Simon played 50 minutes. Gotta be gassed. Making bad choices.
 
Simon line: 2 points, 8 assists, 3 rebounds, 8 turnovers.

The pros do this every other night at Justin's age. He just makes poor passes similar to Ellison every game. Mullin appears frustrated with him today.

Providence has 21 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists from their bench. We have no bench and have to play with AA who averages about 1 and 1.
 
Killer desperation three by Bullock as shot clock ran down. Our guys are doing the best they can with 3 of our 7 man rotation out. They haven't stopped hustling for a minute.
 
Can Cole play some point??? Simon with 8 turnovers that were converted to 16 freaking points by Providence!
We could have stolen this game. Oh well, didn't expect a win so I am on target with predicting a 15-17 season.
 
Just incredible that we are still in this one. With the ball down after the time out, down 5.
