Providence did travel a ton, most weren’t called. They also shot and made some very low % 3s in that stretch towards the end. There are big upsets daily this time of year so happy to win and come out of the game healthy. Beat Marquette!!

Great game by Richmond. Luis was solid.

We did a lot of things that I didn’t like this game but still opened a 19 point lead with less than 10 minutes left. To give up 30 points in less than 8 minutes is something to look at. Need to be better on offense in the first half against Marquette.

I'd also add this is a solid reminder of patience in the transfer portal. This very board was very anxious after we didn't sign guys early on, while Providence got Bensley Joseph (3 pts -- although 12 rebounds and 7 assists --, I take Smith over him any day) and Christ Essankdoko.

Got in from the slopes and just finished watching. Holy heart attack city. St johns is the equivalent of rex ryans 1st 2 years w/ the jets. Ground and pound. Its never pretty, but we come out on top.

Richmond and Luis were just amazing today. Although Luis cannot miss 3 free throws down the stretch.

Wilcher is just inept offensively. Hes so inefficient shooting the ball. Rick needs to retract the green light hes given him.

Aaron Scott has just lost all confidence offensively. I really liked him early in the season but hes now a zero on offense for us too.

I thought Rick got too cute there pulling richmond assuming he could get him back in there after the 4 min time out. This is crunch time and richmond is a big boy. You leave him in at that point of the game.
