Very interesting comments from RP…emphasized need for Joel to get back in transition to deter bully drives (said it’s not enough to run along side opposing center)…Jenkins has previously emphasized the need to build a “wall”…also, while he isn’t changing his emphasis on defense, he seems to have come to grips with our limitations and acknowledges need for us to offset it by making 38%+ of 3 balls.

He also said he isn’t disappointed in dingle but is disappointed in a few guys. Would love to get the truth serum in him to know his real answer on that one

How can he (or anyone, really) be disappointed in Ledlum? He gives 100 percent effort on every play.

Unfortunately, the Big East is probably just one level too high for him. He would have been better off in the A-10, or WCC, or any other upper mid-major conference.
 
For the rest of the season, anyone who’s not going to be here next year comes off the bench. Start Wilcher, Luis, Dunlap , Taylor and Zuby. It doesn’t matter now anyway. Play the guys who will be here and get them integrated into the system to the greatest extent possible. Hopefully, they all come back. The season is over until the BET.

Its a crapshoot at this point, I won’t be surprised either way.
 
It’s wait until next year again unless you think we are going to win the Big East Tournament. I’ve been a fan for 45 yrs and many on here longer than that. We are not getting any younger. I cringe when I hear , Pitino will have us there in year three. That’s two years from now. We all don’t have the luxury of youth like Mr. Jack Williams, Lol 😂.

Lots of basketball yet to be played. We don’t need to win at Providence to make the tourney, but if we don’t then the pressure gets ratcheted up to a degree that will be hard to overcome.
 
I still think we are invited this season. Hope to win one, but…….

Yeah we could lose every game and still make the Tournament by winning the B.E. Tournament.
It's getting tiring hearing that though.
