PREDICTING OUR LAST 8 GAMES……..

  • at Marquette - L
  • at Providence - L
  • SETON HALL - L
  • at Georgetown - W
  • CREIGHTON - L
  • at Butler - L
  • at DePaul - W
  • GEORGETOWN - W
String of non-losing seasons continue. Oh wait a minute .. never mind. I would be pleasantly surprised if any of those L’s turn into W’s. The Seton Hall game is an automatic W at Carnesecca.

Well last year we lost by double digits to Seton Hall at Carnesecca , and Seton Hall fans proceeded to chant “ Let’s go Pirates “ with 2 minutes left in the game which the whole arena could hear . I was extremely mad

But yes this year most likely would of been different .

The Seton Hall game is not at Carnesecca. It’s at UBS.

Agree with this with one change, a "W" somewhere in the first three, best case Marquette on the road against a really good team, but I'll take one of any of those three.

I just think MQ is better and we won't magically start to defend the high ball screen this weekend. Then, don't think we will match the intensity and effort of PC or SH. I sure do hope that I am wrong.

Unfortunately weathermannyc, you are on the money. I think this team has showed us who they are. Let’s hope they prove us wrong!

Marq & Crei we just haven’t been able to get over hump vs. best BE teams. At PC very tough. Hall at UBS & bad matchup being way more athletic. At Butler Hinkle has long been house of horrors.

Were you playing Taps when you compiled this list? 😉

Rothstein has us in his first four out of the dance, and had this to say:

"The games that St. John’s plays at MSG during the Big East Tournament will be treated as home games and not neutral site games by the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee, an NCAA official confirmed to College Hoops Today this week. Why is this so significant? The Red Storm — who are currently among the “First Four Out” in the bracket above — will now only be able to count victories against UConn, Marquette, and Creighton as Quad 1 wins during the Big East Tournament. This could be a major storyline during Championship Week if this team stays on the bubble."

This is crap! Home games? Are these games included at no additional cost with season ticket packages? Complete horse shit!
