Most? Considering many believed this was the best team we've had in two decades? Nah.... If so, I wasn't included in that bunch.
Regardless, we can't change the past, so it's time to start a winning streak tonight.
You really expected us to be better than 15-3 after 18 games before the season started?
Even our most optimistic fans probably saw games @Nova (at the pavilion), @gtown, @SHU, all three road games where we rarely have much success, and they probably also would’ve expected us to slip up at least once in non conf.
We just went 0-11 in conference last year, we added a JUCO AA and Mustapha, but you’re really telling me you expected us to be 16-2 or better?
I’m not very happy with the 15-3 because the losses have been pretty infuriating, but before the season? No way I expected this to be our record
Several posters (I'm not sure you were one of 'em) were proclaiming this was the best team we've had since the Elite 8 team. Granted, we still have a long way to go this season, and it's not out of the realm of possibility this team could get their act together and make it the best crop in two decades. But at this current juncture, there is no way this team is the best team we've had since that particular group from 20 years ago. Not even close, IMO. Every possession meant something with that crop. They D'ed up and went after rebounds like their lives depended on it. Undersized and all. They were effin' maulers.
For the record, I did expect us to be better than our current record. I don't care if we was 0-11 at one point last season. You just stated that we added a JUCO 1st team AA and Heron, so what does 0-11 matters when you have that kinda talent coming on board?
My expectations seem higher than yours. Oh, well....
