Current rumor appears to be Ponds sitting at least as of now. No verification, just pushing along what I've heard. Hope it's wrong. If that's the case, we are in massive trouble. Would be such a sad way to go through his last season wondering "what if".

Shamorie should continue to rest his back if it still barks.
Got to win without him and we should, with Heron, Figgy, Simon, Clark, Keita, Trimble and Williams.
Let’s see what Greg can do.
Just do iit.

Couple of things. I think the team was hoping Ponds could play and really weren't ready to go without him. Now they might be preparing as if he won't play, plus they got smacked around by DeP and they need to respond, pride is at stake.

This is a big game for both teams coming off two straight losses. We need to win at home.

We need to go 4-0 or 3-1 in these next 4 games. If we go 2-2 or worse the path to the tournament is going to be very shaky
Agreed Jack, if we go any less than 3-1 our only road to the NCAA Tourney will the win the Big East Conference Tournament. We probably need 4-0 because we have Duke and Marquette on the road after that. Then we have three home games in a row. So, I would say we need to go 7-2 in our next 9 to put us on a solid path to an NCAA bid. If we go 6-3 we will Have to go 4-1 in our last 5. Otherwise, everything depends on our performance in the Big East Tournament.
My God you’re making me dizzy. just win the next game.

Betting this team has too much talent, pride and grit to lose against Creighton at home after the DePaul lapse, even with Shamorie still nursing his back.
Simon, Clark, Figgy, and Heron will bring it all game...helped with some rest from the bench...I hope.

That’s okay.
His streak ends tomorrow night.
I hope.

Just curious. Never worried about watching games when I can't live, because in NY all games are shown on Optimum. However, I'm down in Venice, FL now. Anyone know if Comcast will show the game?

There's probably no team we play this year where it's more important that we defend the three well. We're second in BE in both overall and 3 pt. fg % but Creighton is first in both. Good news is we're defending three better lately and also Creighton is not that big other than Krampejl who is more of a skilled big man than a bruiser. We should not get punished underneath or on boards this game.
Ty Alexander is an excellent player (probably one of top 10 in BE) and imagine Simon will be guarding him most of the time. One of their starters (Jefferson) missed Nova game with ankle injury leaving them with a thin bench; not sure of his status for tomorrow night. I have a good feeling about tomorrow night's game.

Since we broke an even longer losing streak against G-Town (down in D.C.) earlier, I guess it is time for Mullin to end this Creighton streak.

I live and die with this team and am so much nicer to be around when we win.

Come on guys, do it for my wife!

P.S. Tony in Fairfield, you are being punished, Syracuse any time of the year sucks, but the middle of winter is the worst.

I'm leaving it alone. It's been a few games. Maybe the tv posts are good luck charms.

At risk of stating obvious, the team needs a boost after DePaul loss. A solid, impressive win with Ponds over Creighton would help immensely in building confidence heading to sold out Hinkle Arena, always a tough place even v a sub par Butler.
