We need to go 4-0 or 3-1 in these next 4 games. If we go 2-2 or worse the path to the tournament is going to be very shaky

Definitely. And if Ponds is out for any of these games, I'm not sure we get it done.

My son and I are enjoying our new mid court seats & hope for comeback win over high scoring Creighton this week. Nothing to add re last night & no longer getting too worked up about my most painful hobby and addiction. :)

Agreed Jack, if we go any less than 3-1 our only road to the NCAA Tourney will the win the Big East Conference Tournament. We probably need 4-0 because we have Duke and Marquette on the road after that. Then we have three home games in a row. So, I would say we need to go 7-2 in our next 9 to put us on a solid path to an NCAA bid. If we go 6-3 we will Have to go 4-1 in our last 5. Otherwise, everything depends on our performance in the Big East Tournament.
Both teams coming off back to back losses

Mullin vs McDermott
I was watching their game vs Nova today and they referred to McDermott as a genius on drawing up offensive plays. So much that Jay Wright looks to steal at least one play from him every year. What do you think St Jean will draw up for us to counter that?

The worst part of the tumble from elation is the stark realization that was always there - that at best every remaining game is winnable, and every remaining game is lose-able.

At the queens nassau border there is a street named hook creek blvd that perfectly bisects the border. The nassau side was well maintained and smooth as glass. The queens side had mammoth sized potholes that could swallow your car or at least provide a horrifically bumpy ride.

Last I checked, our school nm is in queens

Maybe lovable for Zion! ;)

OT Bill Self is not a good coach. He recruits 5*s and 1 ‘n done’s, but his teams suffer brain farts regularly. They beat Baylor 73-68 away, but should’ve won by 25.
I could care less.
That said, I’m worried about our team.
Not sure how good the team is and if God Forbid, we’re not off on another 1-10 skid if not 0-11.
Or maybe 8-3.
Who knows?
The players haven’t meshed.
Substitutions are the exception.
In-Game ‘strategy’ is stuck in a ditch.
It’s man-man, or every man for himself.
It’s the Sharmorie Show or ‘No Show’.
Don’t know what to make of it, at this point.
Let’s go Red Storm.

I can feel Ponds pain I suffer from a bad back every now and then and actually the pathetic seats at Carnesecca did me in the other night I am going to my chiropractor today I am in terrible pain. They need to really redo that place already I’m a big guy 6’ 4” my seats are middle aisle I’m crammed in like a sardine no back support and the way I had to twist into my seat the other night was so uncomfortable and I felt the tweak mid game and knew trouble was coming. That coupled with the Sahara desert like heat made the loss even worse! I had even been in pain after the Marquette game and it got better until the DePaul game now just getting out of bed and trying to put my shoes on is an adventure as if the way they played the other night wasn’t bad enough that gave me mental stress and the crappy arena injured my back I’m dreading Wednesday lol.

FYI to anyone else interested; the tickets are no longer available.

I'll actually be up in beautiful Syracuse, New York. If we had won just one of the last two games, I was planning on wearing my St. John's hat there. But now, I'll probably get a ton of crap from those Orange fans. :-(
