Just looking at the body language after the game. Nobody acting like a fool. They EXPECTED to win this game.

"Act like you've been there before".
Very mature and classy group of kids, led by an extremely classy coach.

Awesome win.  Anyone know if Williams is OK.  It looked like he reinjured himself on that dunk and he didn't play at all in the 2nd half

What to say?

-Posh is our floor general and was absolutely outstanding!!  He won' the rookie of the year trophy tonight.  It's done.

- Dunn didn't have a great game and is very limited, but he's still a huge asset on defense and as a ball handler.  I'd love to have him back next year despite his limitations.  He has some huge strengths and he still helped us win.

- Wusu playing like a senior.  I'm sad to see GWill tweak his back again because he was playing well, but we don't lose much with Wusu and maybe even gain.  He's beyond his years.

- They keyed on Champs and he started a bit rough, but he's sooo ice cold and when called on seals it.  Double double in a "bad" game.

- Cole is really starting to step up. One of his better games against real competition.  He's becoming almost automatic.

- Earlington didn't play a ton but bud his shots.  Answered the call.

-Josh Robert's did his thing. Grabbed boards and was tough.

-Moore also played well.  He's got amazing vertical for rebounds and I haven't seen a player in the big East that can put rebound him on our offensive glass.  Still tightening things up but he's sooo long.

Maybe the best 40 minute defensive effort I've ever seen SJU play.  True man-defense.  Very little double and we recovered and rotated on almost all but maybe 5-8 shots.  Incredible defense that totally took Nova out of their game.  It wasn't Nova playing poorly,   as I said for they only played 6 games and they weren't ready to see this type of pressure game.  They've been resting and we've been hunting.

Another note, our unheralded offense is second best in the Big East.  How you like them apples?!?!?  When our defense matches our offense, we eat Number 3's for breakfast!   Great game!

How GREAT was that!!!!!!

Huge 2nd half for Champ.

Relentless defense all night.

We gotta be on the bubble, at a minimum!!

Beating NOVA and Marquette and UCONN are all indicators that we haven't been lucky, we have been good and getting better.

30 minutes to tip off
both FanDuel and MGM have SJU +9.5 over 150.5

take the Johnnies plus the points see if you can buy the extra pt for 10.5.

Impressive win, they dominated a top 3 team with no fan help.  Villonava had no answer how to deal with the press.  Posh Alexander...  It's like Mike hand made him to play in his system, I haven't seen a guard fit so perfectly into the 40 minutes of hell press and run a team this well since Corey Beck.

Yo bro no disrespect but thank you to Arkansas for real man.
Haha no disrespect taken at all.  Everything happens for a reason, I'll always be an Arkansas fan, but Nolan Richardson's 40 MOH is what I grew up on, that's my childhood, my high school basketball coach ran a similar system, I love the playstyle, and Mike's a stand-up guy always repped our state well, happy for him here at St. John's, huge win, and this team is so much fun to watch!

Early in the season, the team was treating defense like an inconvenience that they had to get thru in order to get back to offense...during this run, they have connected the dots and treat defense like a weapon

Sorry, but that has nothing to do with why the overwhelming number of us are feeling good tonight ... certainly not me.
