(POST-GAME) @Providence, Wed. Feb.20, 8:30p, FS-1 / Sirius XM 971

Last 4 games have not been good quite frankly. Lost at home to PC, barely escaped Butler at home after blowing a double digit lead, fell behind by 19 to Nova before rallying and now tonight.

Very fortunate to be 2-2 quite frankly.

Maher should've suited up tonight. Definitely would've gotten some burn time.

Clark was our smartest guy out there tonight. Got tossed so he didn't even subject himself to having to watch the rest of the game. Coaches do this quite frequently. I see coaching in his future.

I'm wondering if he hurt his elbow at the end of the Butler game, more then he is letting on. I'm sure Ponds would deny it if asked, because he never complains about injuries.

Beyond that, needs his first couple of shots to go down on Saturday. That might make him more aggressive.

Either way, we need him.

While others may disagree , I do think Ponds is not healthy . He hasn’t been himself in 3-4 games . I forget which game it was where he was fouled hard and got up flexing his left Arm . He isn’t driving to the hoop the way he usually does and seems very reluctant to shoot from long range too . Sure , he gets double teamed but , that wasn’t a problem earlier in the year . His misses on drives haven’t been close . So , that’s my opinion and I am sticking to it . Clark ? He s certainly is not showing a 5 th Year Players leadership . He hasn’t been much of a Contributor in a while either and tonight was the worst . Figgy’s shot wasn’t falling tonight and he uncharacteristically missed a lot of chippies, We had no answer for Watson and with Clark not on the floor , Keita and Roberts were overmatched . Williams looked lost tonight too . Had to be pulled after several critical turnovers and fouls. All up , a bad Game for everyone . Disappointing after the Nova Win .
