Yes - Dunn and LJ each have another year of eligibility after this season
Nice win
Earlington continues to be a great blue collar guy
Champagnie and Caraher gave a nice lift off the bench
But we would be in the crapper if Dunn hadn't been granted a waiver

Not in the first half. Second half, it completely changed.

I'm not sure what happened to the refs at half time, but 11 fouls in the 4 minutes of the second half. Maybe they got a bad hot dog.

Dunn excellent today he will be a great third guard in this system . I want him going to the hoop every time. Heron getting back on track lose the Hearst’s tin and shoot. Julian was solid today. Let him grow. Duke Of Earlington tried jumping in front of train after game but I pulled him back. Better days ahead. Beat providence ( tough order ) but I think we are going to fuck then up

And pleasure to have firestorm Ken.... come to 114. An awesome dude even though he’s Canadian . Lol but thanks very much for coming to hang with us truly an awesome guy !!!

I appreciate a well earned win. I'd like to see continued improvement in the Johnnies ball handling and shooting.

The key to today's win was the improvement in assists.

On several instances throughout earlier stages of the first half, the Johnnies would turn a steal and a subsequent fast break opportunity into a missed shot from deep or even a turnover of their own. This was a microcosm of issues St. John’s has faced over its first few conference games.

Unfortunately (or maybe not) I missed some the game, and something caught my attention when I looked at the box score: Roberts played only 14 minutes, despite having just one foul. What was that about? Was he hurting, or was simply being benched for poor play?

Were there concerns today? Yes, but I still think we outplayed DePaul, and deserved to win. This guy makes it sound like we were fortunate to not lose by 20. Plus, IMO, you can never have a bad win in league play.

Starting lineup
If LJ returns:
Posh PG, Dunn SG, Cole SG, LJ SF, Gray? C if not then Roberts I guess.

Basically was getting outmuscled by the DePaul bigs. His offensive game is predicated on dunks and putbacks. Shot blocking was negated today so no issue with CMA sitting him.

Hahahahahahahahha. Penny earned his minutes today. Played great. The duke did save the day when greg williams tried to hand depaul the game and earlington had to go get the ball back. Game saving steal by the duke!

I believe we lead the nation in both turnovers forced and steals out of all the major conferences. This has been a theme with all of CMA's teams. Definitely bodes well for the future.

I was disappointed we allowed DePaul to beat us up court in the first half allowing them to outscore us in the paint 26 - 16, all leading to stuffs for Butz. Talk about a change in foul calls,5 in the first half and 14 in the second. Once again, Fiqueroa's poor judgement and control on defense kept him on the bench.Fortunately we kept Reed from hurting us, only scoring 4 points.Nice to see Champagnie return to his steady game, like the way he finishes.
I scared the hell out my dog yelling to get Sears out of the game, talk about not finishing.Dunn definitely belongs in the starting lineup, super game. Heron came through, should help his confidence. Williams and Caraher don't hurt us.Our pressure caused 19 turnovers while we had only 8. Team effort with 23 assists. Moore helped DePaul with his 12 assists. Providence is going to be real tough on Wednesday. Go Johnnies!

They are going to have to keep that up to make up for the fact that every BE team is going to kill them on the boards.

DePaul out rebounded us 41 to 30. You won't or shouldn't see Roberts at the end of the game due to his poor foul shooting.
