And just to add to the sense of optimism, our two freshman look to be good potential role players, coach appears to be alienating our two NYC sophs and not sure why Wheeler would want to come back. But otherwise, everything is hunky dory. Sorry, but last few games have pushed me over the edge from guarded optimism to almost indifference.

Honestly, I’m saddened.   I thought we were moving in the right direction.  I actually think this team has more talent than it’s shown.  I don’t think they’ve been utilized properly.  Some have underperformed. A few have met or exceeded expectations.   But there’s a disconnect and a reliance on a system whose time has passed.

I’m not sure how many more years I can continue to  stay emotionally and time wise  invested and I’ve been a season ticket holder 40 years.

We all keep doing this because when we stop hitting our heads on the wall it feels good./media/kunena/emoticons/dizzy.png

I don't know if it came across in the game thread, but I really think Freeman-Liberty looks like Bob Marley.
Well he did “smoke” us
Youre at your comedic best after this loss. Is this a classic case of using humor to mask your pain? /media/kunena/emoticons/wink.png
Exactly
Kudos. I tend to lash out. /media/kunena/emoticons/w00t.png
It's time like this that I'd really like to bitch-slap someone /media/kunena/emoticons/wink.png

The forty minutes of hell defense has officially become a joke. Had no effect today, less than five turnovers I think, and all the big east schools welcome it because they have athletes who can handle it getting uncontested shots. Where this puts Anderson I don’t know.

What kills me is that this was another easily winnable game. It was there for the taking. DePaul was all but begging us down the stretch to take the lead and pull out a win, and we refused to do so. Poor D, disjointed offense, turnovers, missed FTs, etc etc etc. Mind boggling. We ain't a good team, but I refuse to believe we are this bad.

OK, so I just got home and saw the final score. Of course, the game was nowhere to be found on the radio, but that's for another thread. I looked at the box score and I need the wisdom and knowledge of the group, and I'm being serious, to help me understand something.

I read the box score and would like to know: How the hell did we lose a game where Champ scored 26, Wheeler scored 20 and Posh 18? I haven't read any of the comments yet but I thought some of you could save me the aggravation and agita from reading what happened.

Thanks in advance.

I was willing to stick by him until the bitter end  . . . until he did the Norm thing with "let’s give them credit."

That might burn my ass more than all the losses combined.

how.     Played zero defense

59 er from the line.    Missed critical free throws late

at you point champ was 4-16

Respectfully, if you read the box score, we have up 99 and they had a 39 and 24 point scorer.

The team works hard, it is really coming together, be patient as i only make $2 mill. This is what $2 mill gets you.
I believe he was making well over 2 Mil before the contract renegotiation after our stellar 2021 season. It's probably closer to 3 Mil now, but what's a Mil more or less at this point.
