(POST-GAME) Creighton, Wed. Jan. 30, 6:30p, FS-1 / Sirius 98 & XM 207

Big win. Bottom line if they defend the perimeter they have a good shot to win most games.

And again s/b 17-4 5-4
much needed win. will keep the board somewhat sane for the next couple of days.
Minutes :)

Just want to point out this counts as a Q1 win, since it was away. Given that we were expected to go 1-1 this week, winning this one is great (Georgetown would've been Q2 or Q3 I think).

Great win!

Let’s steal one of the next two and we can really go on a run!! Excellent showing on the road by our guys! Nice bounce back!

Hey give the players and coaches credit .... they stepped up and did what they had to do .... they played hard, played smart, and they won.

MullIin was fantastic. He outcoached the best coach in the conference for the second time this season. Switch defenses? No problem. Starting SF sick on the road? No problem. Mike Zaun wants him dead? No problem.

16-5* year four heading into our win over Duke. Mullin is a hero!

Long live Mullin!!! Long live Mullin!!! Long live Mullin!!!

Not only defend the perimeter, if they shoot the three like this and defend the perimeter they can beat anyone. Agreed on the s/b 17-4 5-4 that what we should be.

Gaudy line by Ponds.
Trimble was stellar, and if you’re just looking at the box score, then you have no idea how good he was tonight.
LJ and Mustapha have an outstanding game as well.
Clark made some big plays when we needed them. And, most importantly, stayed on the court.

Nice game guys!

26 pts 8 rebs 8 asts 6 stls & a W @ creighton for still the best player in the BE regardless of what anyone else tries to tell you.

Way to play Trimble.

Get 1 of 2!

A much-needed game, and we got the W. Finished out the first half with a bang and stymied a late, second half run by Creighton and slammed the door! Definitely a sound win!

Just hoping we can play well and keep it close on Saturday with a chance to win at the end. Then come back and hope we can steal one in Milwaukee next week.

Good job tonight!

And which one is better of the two?

Win at Cameron against top 5 team, or sweeping one of the top teams in the conference, positioning ourselves for a better BET seed?
Dollar beer night is good luck charm, we need it at Alumni Hall.
See I think that helped us because those fans were just happy no matter what. They paid $13 less than I did for a beer at Garden on Sunday

A repeat of last year? Duke & Marquette 2 top10 teams

Trimble with the fastest double teams I've seen in years. Explosive kid. Some of his rebounds are just violent.

Fantastic depth guy ad I've said all year. I want more deep shots for my boy. Ponds drive>baseline pass to Figgy/Clark in the opposite corner>extra pass to Trimble is there all year.
