Possible Coaching Candidates

SJU is committing large amount of money for staff. It will be the highest paid staff in the BE from 3 assistants down to DOBO and analysts.

That is part of the deal, Rick wants to hire who he wants to hire and not be constrained by limited resources.

And working on NIL stuff.
Think there will be an special advisor in addition to the three coaching spots?

You think he brings back Ralph WIllard??? LOL

I assume the 3 assistants, a DOBO and may be 1 or 2 more. My guess is Mas comes as a full assistant as opposed to a special assistant at Iona.
The return of Tom Abatemarco! 😁

I think Maher(?) posted that he heard Van and Mas. I can definitely see this, so really wondering what he does with the third spot. Could really go big if he's negotiating lots of money for assistants.

Taliek Brown seems to be a guy he’s fond of at Iona and has BE ties obviously. Could be 3rd assistant type or DOBO potentially.

I don't have a name but I expect him to poach a good coach from a staff say a Brandin Knight type. Just throwing his name out there.

Also someone not Mas might be in line for the Iona job that is currently on Rick's staff. So that would eliminate that person from coming to SJU obviously.
Assuming Ricky Johns should be the leader for the Iona gig.

Very curious who he might take as you mentioned.

Although I am older, we went to the same high school, St. John’s Prep in Astoria.

Part of the big three CHSAA point guards that year (along with Omar Cook and Andre Barrett).
Couldn't remember if it was still Mater Christi when Brown went there. You can't be that old if it was St. John's Prep when you went there
