Re: Boynton
Lol, fixedWhatever you posted isn't showing but I hope its Boynton and the pizza box
Re: Boynton
Yeah it's a weird situation. The only way he's really an option is if Oklahoma State kind of nudges him out the door and waives his buyout. If Oklahoma State likes him and wants to keep him then he's likely unattainable for us. Right now they are one of the last teams projected in the field. They have an absolute murderers row of a schedule coming up down the stretch and if they struggle and miss the tourney he may not be perceived as desirable by our board and fans. If they play well and make the tournament Oklahoma State will probably want to keep him. He’s winning his way beyond our reach

I don't blame Hurley either for using Cragg to leverage more $$$ out of ASU. I'd do it too. No doubt the Big East and the TV people would love to play up the Bobby Hurley - Danny Hurley matchup. He's a Duke guy, and he may also want to be closer to home.Listen, what Hurley did is business. Don’t make it personal. If it’s determined that he’s the best candidate that we can get then we go with him.
Here's an outside the box name: Tim Cluess. Has anyone heard how he's doing health wise since leaving Iona?
My Illiniois resident and MQ fan during Wojo's time friend warned me about Curbelo, and confirmed Wojo is a douche. There's no love lost between him and the MQ fan base.I don't think he is a much better coach than CMA. And he's a douche.
Will be great then when we beat them twice a year under Wojo’s coachingMy Illiniois resident and MQ fan during Wojo's time friend warned me about Curbelo, and confirmed Wojo is a douche. There's no love lost between him and the MQ fan base.
But alas, his overall record was 374–428 (.466).Haven’t heard the name Nick Macarchuk mentioned yet. He’s only 10 years older than Pitino and also knows the local area and should easily pass muster with with the board of trustees in regard to any ethical concerns they may have about a proposed candidate.
Why would we Holtmann? osu is 3-10 in conf - Guess he'd be perfect for SJU.FS1 trolling us with their games tonight:
- Ohio State
- Northwestern
- Arizona State
Possible St. John’s Coaching Candidates on display
Mullin was a splash hire. A risky experiment that got a ton of publicity and excited the fan base. Until things went off the rails. CMA was an anti-splash hire, the solid steady guy who was going to right the ship. It’s a shame it didn’t work out.St. Johns needs a Big Splash hire. The program is dead, no interest, not thought about, considered worthless by many casual fans. The last big splash hire we had was Steve Lavin. The Johnnies were the hot school and Lavin brought in the recruits.
It would seen to me that the only coach out there to provide that splash now is Rick P. The school has a chance to rectify all the dumb ass idiotic mistakes its made over the decades with one simple hire. If they don't get this guy, the school may fade away into the shadow of mediocrity forever.
