You can say that about anyone? Player X only average 4.2 pts because he was not coached right.
Bottom line is a poster (not you) said he could start for any program in America. There is no ridiculous "well of course it is the right coaching and the only right coaching is at SHU and Butler. Otherwise no program can give him the proper coaching).
I will give you a shorter answer he obviously can play at this level but he has many drawbacks. He is not the difference maker on SJU and never was.
Nobody is beating down his door because objective people know his limitations and have better options.
The idea that SJU program needs to have him back to survive was ludicrous to begin with and has proven even moreso since. The guy has been in the portal for weeks now and he has taken one visit and scheduled for another for two programs that are VERY DESPERATE.

Again I am knocking the guy but his best year, his freshman year, happened in a bubble in a down year for the conference where only 3 teams even made the NCAA's.
