Posh Alexander (BUTLER COMMIT)

So when people voice concern over our roster, people shout back that it is early.
But these same people are posting that no one wants Posh because he hasn’t picked a place yet.
So early for Pitino and late for Posh?

Posh and Wusu played their hearts out and loved it here. Slandering them is classless behavior. Shame it still happens weeks later.

Posh is an emotional player. In the age of social media, it’s crazy that posting your thoughts on the internet would cause adults to run with them. Leave him alone.

I haven’t seen it posted publicly that he was taking a visit there but I was told that he’s deciding this week w Butler the favorite. Multiple higher end A10 teams wanted to bring him in also but looks like it will be Butler

Slandering him? Posh is a 22 year old man, not a kid. He's getting paid handsomely to play professional basketball. Discussing his strengths and weaknesses, where he may land, etc, is not slandering him.

Definition of Slander
the action or crime of making a false spoken statement damaging to a person's reputation:
"he is suing the TV network for slander"
verb
1.
make false and damaging statements about (someone):
"they were accused of slandering the head of state"

Please show us how he was slandered according to the definition. If anything you have used the word in an inaccurate and damaging way. Only thing I’ve seen is accurate portrayals of his basketball skills, both pro and con.

In actuality, he slandered us by accusing us of slandering Posh lol

Can someone tell me if Posh is so invaluable and according to one poster can start on ANY team in America, why aren't big time high majors beating down his door?

Just a question.
Maybe his price tag isn't commensurate to his talent level. Maybe that's also why he's not still here.

Well that’s a loaded question. I think the majority of posters like myself think Posh, when he’s right, is an elite defender who with the right coaching and work ethic could be an all league player.

I also think many of us as SJU fans have attached loyalty to a kid who seems to have given 110 percent while on the floor for our program over the last three years. As fans, we build up emotional connections to players and crave some continuity. For better or for worse, Posh was one of the leaders of our team for three years and he was a beacon of hope for us to improve.

As to why Posh hasn’t garnered more interest from big time programs, I’m not sure if there is additional baggage he’s carrying. He’s clearly not a perfect player but I continue to believe that if he’s right, he is better than any kid at his position we’ve recruited to date or that we’re involved with.
