Posted this in the other thread, but my Cablevision Guide is showing the game on tonight on NBCSH, my channel 146. Right now NBCSH is showing the first game, Georgia Tech vs. Ole Miss. The place looks empty on TV.
It's really telling that in a game where we are pretty much the home team, we're the underdogs against a Penn State team who finished dead last in the Big Ten last year with a record of 10-21 and 2-16 in conference.
I clicked on the Barclay link and then canceled it and a screen popped up thanking me for the purchase of the game. I hope they screwed up and I get it for nothing as I'm too cheap to pay the 10 bucks.
Just did the very same thing and I got the same message, thanking me for purchasing the game tonight. I guess we'll see at 7:00 PM if it works!
Update: On the very bottom of the screen thanking me for purchasing the event, was the disclaimer that "You do not have access to this video." Oh well. It was worth a shot.

St. John's is the favorite.
Besides, who cares about lines (unless, you're betting), whether we we're the favorite the underdog? The game is played on the court, instead of paper.

I saw the tux say "minus 3", thought it meant 3 point underdogs. Anyway that's not the point, why should we be only favored to win by 2 points? Coming into the season, this is a game where we should have been penciled in for a 20 point win, and now we're favored by 2. Definitely concerning.
We have to win this tournament if we believe we are as good as advertised.

Maybe, so. But I don't believe the point spread has any bearing on anything (not directing this at you). Games are played on the field, court, ice rink, or whatever.... Not on paper.
So I met a buddy of mine at Penn Station before heading into Brooklyn and who do we bump into going to the Duke - Arizona game at MSG, Chris Mullin. I showed him my SJU shirt and he waived and gave me the "number 1" sign. I should've told him he was in the wrong arena lol
