If one of the longest losing streaks in the NCAA, or 1 big east win, isn't embarrassing to you at all, then kudos to you. Regardless of the fact that it was a new coach, it was still embarrassing getting blown out and losing like that. A similar season in any way is unacceptable.

Embarrassing is having half the team suspended for sneaking out and getting caught with a hooker.

Embarrassing is when a head coach insult a local kid's family during a visit.

Embarrassing is when a coach tell HS basketball coached he doesn't need their players. He is recruiting JUCOs.

Embarrassing is when a coach doesn't do anything to one of his players after the player physically assaults his girlfriend.

Embarrassing is when a coach rather enjoy the social perks of living in The City, instead of catching a kid play a game 20 minutes from his place of employment.

Embarrassing is leaving so many holes in a roster it looks like the day before an expansion.draft.

Embarrassing is keeping a coach around because he is a nice guy, regardless of the fact he is in way over his head.

What happened this past season was not enjoyable to say the least. But the kids who comprise the roster appear to be good and hardworking kids. They were just woefully undermanned.

I guess the Reader's Digest version of my long and winded post is to say the team did not embarrass me.

See most embarrassing part of hooker thing was that if the kids weren't so cheap there would never had been an issue. You should always pay for services rendered ;)

Excellent insight and perspective K! Putting the Ls and the lousiness of losing aside, "it easy very fine year" as to commencing a MAJOR turnaround, putting a high calibre staff in place, making due with what bench players were "left" or recruited at the 11th hour., watching the team
Play hard and maintain a nice attitude.....getting commitments from five potential star players.
