Interesting photo of Recruit Jaylen and Mullin , Mom, Matt , St Jean and Mitch ? Curious as to CM’ s actual height ? He was often listed as6’7”” , is that accurate ? I think Mitch was listed as 6’5” during his NBA Career . No snide comments necessary . It’s a legit question .

Mullin is leaning in the picture so I think 6'6 seems right and Richmond 6'5. I won't estimate Matt A's height.
For those who get caught up too much in rankings, here’s a kid who many of us frowned upon. My buddy Jpm14 tells me he was clearly interested in Johnnies.

Not moaning about it, but just hope folks can be fine if/when SJU lands a kid flirting with top 100 status. Always better to see schools recruiting the player v obsession w rankings. Btw, do sense a good chance with a similarly ranked guard.

I watched Alvarado a number of times in high school and always thought he was really good. We didn't have the playing time that Georgia Tech gave him with Lovett still around even if he had any interest. He is a very emotional player but so far that hasn't been an issue. Wish him continued success.

For those of us 50+ not unusual to lose an inch. I was at the Dr. a couple weeks ago and I am a solid inch shorter than I was in college. I'm talking height here.

Totally get that. Also depends on the sneakers you wear.

Is that before or after your Roman Health consultation?

Good to see Mitch involved. No doubt, he and Mullin, together, provide a great aura to recruits.
Hoping it's the start of a new Era with M&M teaming up to visit recruits. Since they are all back I will support them 100%.
Glad we don't have to dissect anyone's whereabouts any longer. An early commit will go a long way to securing the 2nd and likely key recruit.

If I had to guess, now that we are in September, Mitch is back and fully engaged. I wouldn't be surprised is that his deal has him engaged from now through season's end.

I would expect that Chris and Mitch are used judioucsly on closable deals, with Chris making most if not all home visits.

Great to hear. Seems like it should be an effective strategy. We may get some 'hits' indeed.

Dawes, Hill, Bishop seem we’ll in play with Gaffney a Xavier lean it appears. Not bad possibilities for guards and wings.

Crazy as it seems, Precious, Aidan & Kofi in play. Considering we really need three players, that seems to have some promise. Precious surprises me, but hear he respects Mullin a lot. Not sure about Samuel, but we’ll know soon if contact with him results in dividend. RM North in better position to gauge that.

If they only land two kids in Fall, obviously they can fill remaining & unanticipated needs in Spring.

Thanks, as always Paultz, for the update
Some encouraging news!! Always nice to hear!!

Even though in one sense there's no logic to it because he'd be gone before any of the 2019 recruits could play for us, I just get the feeling that having Heron declared eligible would give us a shot of momentum/boost with our 2019 recruiting.

Pay attention to how Mullin the person, not mullin the hof star resonates with kids and especially their parents.

I heard jay wright once tell a story how he recruited that big kid from Africa about 10.years ago. He travelled all the way there for an in home visit and had his pitch all set. When he got there he was intercepted by the uncle who pulled him aside and told him, " if you only talk about basketball his parents wont send him to you. Dont talk basketball, talk about academics and what his education will do for him.

Wright headed the advice and landed the kid, not saying a word about basketball during the in home visit
