Official SF Game Thread

I shut the game off. They are just playing HORSE from 3 point range uncontested at this point. When you let your opponent be automatic from 3 like Baylor you can't win.
 
Tonight's game has far more to do with our defense or lack of, moreso than our offense. San Fran is carving us up.

I know it's early in the half, but this game might be over. I don't like the body english of the team.
 
We are being schooled. Open threes and layup city. They are now drawing diagrams demonstrating how p--- poor our defense is 14-2 run. This is disgusting.
 
anyone else think if a SF player told one of our guys "your shoe's untied" he'd look down and give up an easy layup?

Greene should have been out of game 5 minutes ago...he hurt us bad...let the slow point guard beat him every time...and doesnt fight to get back in the play...gets caught in mismatches all night and doesnt fight one iota to defend...

Honestly MJ I don't like the effort tonight. Defense is a little bit design but a lot more about effort. Some of our guys need a little attitude adjustment about playing a little defense. Lot of jogging around, not getting back with wide open looks.
 
They should be ashamed of themselves.

Very easy to talk about being the best backcourt in the Big East and finishing at the top. But the elite teams don't step into another team's gym no matter how big or small and play timid against a team that you should wax the floor with.

Inexcusable.
 
I'm don't want to be melodramatic - but the defense of this team is quite disappointing. Where is Keady's sagely advice to tighten things up? we'll need a monumental effort to get back into this.

Sampson needs to go to the rim a lot. Harrison needs to dominate the ball. Obekpa and Pointer better not take another jumper.
 
Do you guys know how to watch basketball? It's not about closing on shooters. It's about denying white chocolate the ball and keeping him out of the paint. He has no shot whatsoever back off and go under the screen
