If Marco played for SF or Baylor and they got him this many open looks at 3 he might have 30 points by the time the game was over. For whoever said we don't give up as many 3's as it seems, are you watching? If I were Lavin I would have a practice exclusively for defending the 3 pt shot and rotating properly. SF always knows where the open man is.
Another thing I notice and can't stand is how bad our half court offense is. We constantly gather 5 feet beyond the 3 pt arc passing back and forth, often telegraphing many of them so there is no surprise or cut. Why in the world do we not threaten them inside and draw fouls? We are more athletic than them to begin with, so if they get in major foul trouble early, we have a great shot of winning. We did that well early but seem to have gotten more submissive. Flip it to Harrison, Greene, or Sampson and drive hard into the paint. We need to make 3's at a much better rate BADLY.
