Official Seton Hall Game Thread

IMO, refs were fine, we sucked. Having said that, it is great to win when you play that poorly and hopefully we go back to playing good ball on Sunday. Win and move on..............

The refs were bad but equally bad to both teams.

Something about playing at Seton Hall that puts us in funk. Glad we won. Hopefully this is a bad game we need to get out of our system

Whew. why doesn't this feel good.

Because we played like crap against an undermanned team and barely escaped with our lives. The refs sucked but we were our own worst enemies with the constant mindless unforced turnovers

Never a doubt.
Why don't we ask Mene Gene if there was a doubt?

We always play horrible against Seton Hall. I can't take it. I remember one game years ago when Danny Callandrillo killed us for Seton Hall. Back when Bill Rafftery was the coach. Anyway, thank God for the win. A loss here would have killed us. Hopefully, one more lesson learned for this team and we move on.

Whew I never felt comfortable during that game. I said to my father during the second half I would be exretemelyt happy with a one point win anyway we can get it. Well we got it! Obekpa with onions! But how bout that pass by rysheed? OMG that was something crazy.

I am very confident that we will play much better at home this sunday. We are due for romping of Gtown!

.500 in the BE

Who would have believed we would win with an Obekpa foul shot. Much improved. Did we need this game or what? That's what a point guard can do for our club, a sweet pass from Rysheed to Obekpa.

georgetown will be a huge game. rival plus there is too much traffic in the middle of the conference. hope the garden will be rocking.

It should. Road wins in the Big East aren't easy. I thought they were done when they were down four around two minutes. Great comeback. Lesser teams try to make it ugly...they succeeded.
Our RPI will be nicely rewarded for this.

In the morning it will feel good. They have now have two home games in hand. Important win when they didn't play well on the road, but came up big when they had to. Big stop, fearless pass by Jordan.

When guys were debating who should take the last shot, I debated Harrison, or having ball in Jordan's hands. Jordan can be TO prone, but when ball is in his hand, ANYONE can get the last shot, which is how bball is played. With the ball in Jordan's hands, ANYONE can get an easy shot.

To me, this was one of the most dangerous games on the schedule. Ugly win. But this didn't sink us.

Hopefully the players don't think that way; we are certainly not good enough to consider any game anything but dangerous. Great, great pass by Jordan and equally great catch by Obekpa. For all the complaining about the refs who I thought had a decent game, I thought the last foul should have been intentional. An obvious push in the back in no way constitutes playing the ball and is very dangerous when a player is leaving his feet.

I feel good about it. Yeah ugly but this was classic trap game. We deserved a break.

Now lets get back to the form from the last few games and beat Gtown and we can really start to dream
