The fact Lamont and his wife go to visit almost 20 years after playing for Panther in high school is clear evidence of the deep respect they have for him.
Just wonderful to see. Much respect.
absolutely !! And being totally serious if I had kids ( I don’t think I do lol ) but no joke if they played hoops or if I wanted them to have a real role model other than my dad then it would be Panther. I mainly Know him from here and private convos but I’m a people person and I know people and he is the guy
I had the pleasure of meeting Panther at the Orlando Tournament. What a fine gentleman he is and a great representative for St. John's.
simply the best

Looks to be in great shape. No one would suspect anything if a Hamont Lamilton suited up for us this year, right?

Mel was a man among boys when he played at St John's. Had he not injured his knee in the NIT against Oral Roberts, I truly believe that he would have had a much longer and more successful NBA career.

Well deserved and congratulations to Jill.

This gave me a good belly laugh. When you mention the name David Russell on a St John's basketball site, this isn't the guy you would expect to see but I love the subject of the book.

With new ownership now in place, David's next book will be entitled "Fabulous to Futile to Fabulous Once Again".

It was an awesome sight! 10 guys got on their hands and knees to form a table and then Carr sat on them.
