Obekpa Suspended

Does this all but seal it, that Obekpa is gone after the season?

I wouldn't say the door is completely closed, but close.
 
I'm glad it was announced today. I would have been really pissed if they kept this from the fans spending a good bit of money to travel to see them play.
 
I appologize if this has been covered elsewhere here, but did anyone notice that CO didn't jump on he opening tip of the Providence game?

Do we think this is part of a larger issue which has led to Lavin's action?
 
I'm just glad the oral surgeon gave me hydrocodone for the pain from my wisdom tooth removal. I'm due to take the next one at 4pm so maybe this will get me less pissed for the next couple of hours because I just kicked my coach and think I might have broken a toe

Yukon wins the AAC tournament. They slide into our position in the NCAA's, we slide into theirs in the NIT. Nothing else need change.

I think it does. No matter what he did, from his perspective, he probably feels he didn't deserve a suspension. Now especially. I think CO is gone after this season.

No chance. if UConn wins their tourney, they'd almost certainly be in one of the play-in games due to their RPI of 75.

holy cow I can't believe I wrote coach instead of couch. Freudian slip for sure :)

I'm gonna be kicking something else in my house too. not sure yet. Anything but the tv

Watching VCU about to beat Dayton for the A-10 championship and wondering, "How would Shaka Smart do if he were our coach?"

Just like a boss gets the blame for stuff that happens on his watch with employees

I don't care what happened. How many of the other teams in the field does this happen to today
 
Silver lining= if this somehow screws us out of a bid Lavin will be fired and we can change the culture of having a soap opera type chemistry...Hmm maybe his wife is the yoko Ono of Redmen basketball never thought of that

Not disagreeing, but the committee takes how you're playing into account, and it would certainly be sticking it in, twisting it, and breaking it off from this fan's perspective. But that probably wouldn't make much difference anyway, I feel sufficiently bludgeoned so that I am so close to numb that it makes no difference.

Mike, believe me, I feel your frustration. But who knows? This may have already happened at a Duke, UNC or UCONN caliber program. But don't kid yourself. Those coaches would have never suspended their player.
 
I say withhold the information until tomorrow.

Absolute BS for these seniors who weren't involved.

I'd be shocked if we're out of the field but I can't say with 100% confidence we're in anymore.
