NY YANKEES - 2021

chad and jeremy - very few things are scarier to a yankee fan than seeing chad and jeremy pitch to a homer hitting lefty.
in defense of green - before the home run to lindnor, he threw 2 pitched to lindnor that were in the magical rectangular strike box. both times the ump squeezed green. look at the play by play 8th inning at bat to see where green threw those 2 pitches. so its 2 and zero count and green threw one down the middle. game over.

I have reached the conclusion that a Yankees loss gives me more pleasure than a Mets win.  Does this mean I am a nihilist?

No. It makes you a typical Met fan. Losers hate to see winners win.
Don’t let the subway car door hit you on the way back to the Bronx you “winners”

I always thought the Mets needed a plumber in Flushing. Classy group in Queens.

Mercifully, Torres's days at shortstop are over.  Team announced he's going back to 2B, with DJ moving to 3B, and Urshela (who has been awful at third, especially since injuring his hand in the Anaheim series) going to SS (although Wade starts there today).

Yanks starter pitching batting practice in the first inning allowing two 2 run homers. If they can't beat their punching bag the Twins at home it may just be an omen that they won't even make the playoffs.

Both teams will be on the outside looking in come playoff time.  One team might finish as low as their current position, fourth in their division the other might as low as as their current position, 3rd, and possibly with a losing record.

One fan base seems ready to move on from their Manager and GM, while the other one appears to definitely want their Manager gone and needs a GM because their previous one doesn’t know what is appropriate behavior with woman while his replacement couldn’t call Uber, Lyft or a cab after having too many cocktails.

Quite frankly, both teams suck.

Makes no difference.  Urshela doesn’t have the range to be an everyday shortstop.

Should have shot the works and stayed with Gallo, Judge and Stanton in the OF and let Voit DH when he was hot.  Possibly dropping Gallo down in that lineup with less pressure, maybe he actually hits, but no.

Time for Boone, Cashman and their analytics guys to be traded in for new ones.

Theo want to get back in the game running a team?

Was just about to post what a boring game for me to be sitting at then Judge hammers one. Lol

Glad you got to see a comeback walk-off.

We can still beat the Twinkies, well, we got that going for us.

game 162/144.
the greatest comeback in the history of the 2021 yanks.
the game that turned the season around for the yanks.
and i missed the last 5 innings.
i left game after 5 innings and down 5 to zero with a bunt single offense.
i put the game on my cell with the score tied in bottom of 9th.
gallo, #99 * future yank captain, kraken future way uncertain.
put seat belts on, 18 agita filled games left.

you might have been sitting next to my friends and I. There were only about 100 people there :)

Just keep winning. We're due for another hot streak, right? Amazing how the Muts bats fell asleep right after the Yanks left town.

Next 9 against Orioles, Indians & Rangers all below .500 before finishing up with 9 against Jays, Red Sox & Rays. Would really help to win at least 6 of next 9.

At this point, it's looking like Torres' future may be as a DH. Yanks have no faith in him no matter where he plays

His future lies somewhere else.
Have to think he’s a chip they use in the off-season.

Of all the need areas for the Yankees, the last thing they need is another designated hitter.
