NY Football Giants '24-'25

I think Dart could be a sleeper, would be best to sign someone like Darnold for a year or two, and let Dart sit the first year, make him the 3rd string or put him on the practice squad, 2nd year as the 2nd string and if the 1st string isn't working out then start him in the 2nd half.

I know you love Dart which is why I posted the article.

Giants will not sign Darnold. He will want a ton of money and rightfully so and the Giants are already $20M in the hole on Daniel Jones dead money.

All for someone learning from a vet to start the year but Dart won't be on practice squad. If he was that means any team can sign him to the main roster. Its meant for undrafted players. Let's see how Dart does at Senior Bowl as that can solidify him as Day 2 pick. The offense Ole Miss runs isn't conducive to NFL success so he has to show he's able to grasp the difference.
 
NFL teams will have him for try outs before the draft. See what they think of him.
I did know that about the practice squad, thanks. I knew they weren't very good, but didn't know any team could just pick them up at anytime.

Maybe he can be the 3rd string QB, and only go in for emergencies.

Brady was picked in the 6th and and won 7 or 8 SB? Mean while Heisman award 1st rnd picks are busts, every pick is a gamble.

Two teams above them both need QBs. Needed Patriots to stay at number one to possibly trade up for Sanders or Ward but of course everything goes wrong for Giants and Jets. Wouldn’t mind Travis Hunter or maybe trade down for more draft capital and go for QB later in draft

it is time for the league commissioner to step in and get the "Gi-aints" a real GM who can pick a real coach as was done when they were told to hire George young. This is the stupidest decision ever by the "Gi-aints"; keep the guy who signed the Duke Guy to a big contract and then let Saquan go for nothing. Go Birds🦅🦅.

For the Giants to trade up with Pats (NOT for the Pats to trade up I know they have Maye which is why they might be willing to trade down) how would Pats trae up from number one position which is what I said Giants needed to have happen and which Pats had until they won yesterday.
 
Can they afford him? Sure technically they can.

Should they afford him? No chance in hell. First he’s not a 40 million dollar QB. Second you’re still paying Daniel Jones 20 million. The Giants for as bad as they are they shouldn’t be devoting 60 million dollars to the QB position in 2025 and trotting out Sam Darnold.

Watch your boy Dart. He’s getting a lot of Nix comparisons. Not project able in the NFL but it all depends on where you go and who is coaching you. Could Dart succeed in the NFL sure. But could that be on the Giants and under Daboll/Kafka? Easy money says no.
