Norvel Pelle

 Should we receive Pelle's LOI which "seems" to be imminent, it is the best news we can get. We can recruit other PF's if we have to but not easy to find guys like Pelle. Let's get that letter so we can move on from this...
 
Why would anyone believe anything Len Robbins says and especially his predictions of future events. His track record is abysmal. 
 
 No disrespect to Berry, Wennington, Jones and Glass but Pelle, God and Harkless has the potential the be our best FC ever. Too bad it'll only be for 1 year

I agree he was the National Player of the Year in 86.
 
 Wennington was a Mcd AA. RE: Pelle , Although I would love to get Gathers, I think he is more important because we have no true C. GG is a true PF and is in the mold of Gathers, both being exceptionily strong.

Only reports that are true about Norvel Pelle is that he will be a 2012 recruit. He has not signed any LOI. #stjbb

Great news-just hoping that both are good to go in December-of course it's great news even if we have to wait a year, but what a  bonus if it's the December mark. Would certainly shore up the number of bodies, to say nothing of the additional size and defensive improvement/depth they both could bring.
I agree-
Pointer and Garrett on the top and Pelle and GG down low would certainly appear to make for a very tough defensive alignment.

Would love to see both God's Gift and Pelle play together this year. This way G.G. as a senior next year and Pelle a soph, would have that year of experience together.

 Well, in another turn in the endless saga, Dave on JJ reporting that Norvel has now de-committed and opened his recruitment. Dare I say it's probably better to move on at this point. Time to recruit guys that take this stuff seriously. I hope we can find some more size up front.

Agree. Only issue is we need some more talent and big bodies coming in for 2012. Right now that class is just Darrick Wood as far as we know. Lavs has some work to do to add a couple players for next season.

Anyone else find it strange that Wood didn't sign last week?

MCN,, You are correct when you say it might be time to move on. I don't want to sound like a sour grapes guy.. and we all know Pelle is super talented.. That being said..He is a strange kid to say the least.
