Northeastern Game

harrison started well getting to the rim and getting fouled, then he stopped. need to get the rock back in his hands and overall the team needs to display more patience on offense. They are rushing and making mistakes (bad shots).

The concept of defense or keying on the other team's hot player seems like a foreign concept to our team here in the 2nd half.

I would get out of that matchup zone. N'eastern is looking for their "hot hand." Make him put it on the floor. Go man-to-man because we're getting lost in the zone.

We're just getting flat-out outplayed.

 Down 11.
This is ugly. They always have a guy open. We don't boxout.
We look like we're just going through the motions.

Someone needs to wake these guys up.

I hope Pelle, Garret, and Gathers are watching this game....

Nothing is better for recruiting than getting blown out by a below average D1 team...

Harrison gets his shot altered by his own teammate and then they come down and force the foul. Been that kind of half.

This one is over. Missing layups a la Norm's teams. GG cannot hit a layup or box out, and this team just doesn't want it. They are letting a 26% 3 pt shooting team shoot the lights out, maybe its our defense since everyone shoots all day against us. I understand they are young but you already played two ranked teams at MSG, Northeastern at home should not get blown out end of story.

I agree, but GG seems to be the only one still giving 100% . He's shown great hustle and actually played decently well in the 2nd half.

I, figured we would rout these guys for the fact they couldn't shoot from outside. But, we allowed one guy to light is up from the outside. IMO, this game boiled down to lack of rebounding and the team seemed to be going through the motions. There was no energy in the way they were moving, offensively and defensively.

I hate to write this because I expected a couple of stinkers this season, but they are being outplayed so thoroughly, they should be embarrassed. There is no effort here.
They better come out balls to the wall on Thursday.

I love how that Nuri finally decided to slow down and run the offense like a PG should, instead of driving every time and making stupid plays. The only problem is that he is doing it when we are down 12 with 2 minutes to go....he has no bball IQ

I too thought this was going to be a win, but Northeastern played well. They hit thir 3's and the boards and we had no answer. The lack of experience and youth really showed today. When we got down in the 2nd half, they seemed to try and get it all back at once, by taking bad 3's and forcing it in the paint. It went from down 3 to 10 in just 3 posessions.

We are going to take our lumps this year, but game in and game out you can see the talent level, they just need more games under thir belt.
