I get where Goodman may be coming from, but you take $ to the bank, not %.. Only select kids are getting NIL's $ that rival or exceed what they would make at their qualified level of pro ball. And those kids likely already have agents (in some shape of form) before even getting to college.

Cadeau, the 17-year old sophomore point guard from Bergen Catholic and the New Heights Lightning AAU program, is believed to be the first American high school athlete to sign an international NIL deal.


The 6-foot-1, 175-pound Cadeau, whose mother, Michelle, is Swedish and and whose father, James, is from Haiti, has signed a five-figure NIL deal with Swedish vitamin drink Vitamin Well. Cadeau, the No. 1-rated point guard in the Class of 2024 per 247Sports.com, also has NIL deals with Swedish company Flowlife, which makes products in the exercise and and recovery categories, as well as American companies Leaf Trading Cards and Wilson Sporting Goods. He also has his own clothing line, Elliot Cadeau Wear, and his own website Elliotcadeau.com. He’s represented in the NIL space by Roc Nation Sports.

I watched him play this morning at IS8. He is a very good ballplayer. More of a combo guard than a point guard.
 
This is Aaron Taylor who played college football at Notre Dame and won a SB with the Green Bay Packers. Yes, he is talking about NIL and college football but clearly it applies to college basketball. Interesting.
