Since this Creighton game blows, name your top 3 realistic candidates as potential next head coach...

Name / Current School...

Nothing else...

Go !!!

Drew Valentine from Loyola Chicago would be a good choice. But why would he come here. He has a ranked team there now and has a better situation probably.

Tommy Ammaker has done good job at Harvard and has Big East experience. King Rice from Monmouth.

This is a little nuts, but how about Matt McKillop at Davidson? Obviously Bob isn't coming, but that team is so well coached and everything we have tried for the last 30 years has failed, so why not?

Why not Richard Pitino?? You know he’ll recruit well regardless. He’s young and would probably take the job

Anti Pitino segment will revisit the sins of the father on the son and put the kibosh on it.

Plus,  I really hope that by next time around we've learned our lesson and do not hire yet another coach who was fired from his previous job

Is Little Ricky any good if he doesn't have Kimani with him? (I seriously don't know -- I'm too lazy to look it up.)

Marquette hired a coach that was fired from a previous job, how’s that working out? Tennessee hired a coach that was fired from a previous job, I believe they’re ranked.

This is known as “The Inverted Frascilla” maneuver

I think he is at New Mexico now
Next head coach - Bobby Gonzalez, because twenty years ago, said it was his "dream job."

Little Ricky off to a rough start at New Mexico...  7-11 overall, 0-5 conference (11th place in Mountain West)

At Minnesota, he was 141-123 (.534%), 54-96 (.360%) in Big 10 .  Only made tourney twice in 8 seasons.

Pass.

Hire Richard Pitino as head coach who hires Rick as asst which is acceptable to the board. Then let Richard take a leave of absence putting dad in charge or simply let Rick run the show. By the end of next season things are going to be so bad around SJU just about anything is possible.

I did intense research and "read up" on my choices:

1) Red Auerbach
2) Red Holzman
3) Red Klotz
