If St.John’s is to be tournament bound (NCAA, or NIT) then it must win games it is suppose to win.

This is a game St.John’s is suppose to win, so let’s hope the team has matured sufficient to do what it is suppose to do.

 
They should give away hundreds of tickets to area high schools. Fill the house.
 
Going to game tonight - should be a good one - want a win of course but one way of the other = great experience and measure of where we are at.
 
Type of game we need to win. Will be very happy if we do and will set the tone. If we lose, obviously not a terrible loss (though it could be a bad 100+ RPI loss), but will really deflate hype. I feel most fans are very skeptical right now but anxious for a win in a game like this. I think attendance will increase once the team shows fans a reason to.

The fact Nebraska is big doesn't matter. We are favored by 8 and therefore we should win.

If you look at the top 25, so far only one ranked team lost to an unranked team (props to Creighton). Good teams win the games they're expected to.

right. Huge to me in that a loss at home in a game we are favored sets the tone that we don't have answers. Obviously a win against Nebraska isn't "huge." But it means we are taking care of business and have some pride protecting the home court. But in a less obvious way it is a sign that we have been building and the last two seasons weren't a total waste of time. So maybe this is a good team!

I think every game is a big game given our recent struggles. That may be the understatement of the year. However, I do feel good about this team and look at this game as a gradual progression win that we need. We beat two teams we should beat and now we play a stronger team and although favored we will be tested. We need to win and improve as we go. No more inexperienced excuses. Each and every game is an opportunity for our guys to prove we are in good hands and headed in the right direction. I think the schedule was put together perfectly whether it was planned that way or not. I'll try to enjoy the ride as its been a long time since I felt this excited to see where the team is headed. A few wins and 4 or 5 kids signed up for next year have me thinking better days are coming.
 
little bit ugly to start then 9-0 run. 11-5. Simon just hit a 3. I believe he is 2-2 for the season.

Owens with another block. Defense and Rebounding very good overall except maybe some missed shooters on the 3. Offense at times blazing fast good off ball movement.

We need better facilities but we also need more fans that get off their b...s. Only good thing about these 6:30 games is the crowd is younger. This place should be erupting. I am so pumped right now. I am just waiting for the second half standing in the upper tier.

Basing my take vs first 2 games. So yes. He was also on the floor for a ball, drew a charge and didn't turn the ball over!
