And now an obvious intentional foul by Rodriguez, it is the right call. Embarrassing ending, another BE team goes out with less than their heads high.

SH cold down the stretch & mistake prone, goes home. Turnovers!

Should have had this one.

I used to think that I just hated Whitehead. Now I just hate Seton Hall. Royally screwed my Bracket. Had them to the Finals.

Took them later in the game to do it but the Hall folded just like Providence

Now a BS flagrant 1 foul. Killer for Seton Hall.

Disagree with you and mjmaher, obvious push, obvious flagrant to me. Delgado, Carrington, and Rodriguez all came up real small down the stretch.

agree with the guys coming up small but that foul was no worse than I see at the end of a lot of games when a team needs to foul. They might as well call flagrant 1 on every game ending intentional foul. The only thing that was different was the accidental trip

I agree with you about the SH players, especially Carrington coming up small. However, the refs have to not overcall that play. A regular common foul would have been more appropriate.

Rodriguez screwed up by making no effort at the ball. He just shoved the guy hard from behind. Hate to see it end that way, but he messed up.

SH would have lost even if the ref called a common foul. Two shots would have put Ark up 3 and SH couldn't score at that point in the game.

The trip was unintentional and the push was no different than any other foul called in a game. Both the trip and push together made it look worse. But you heard the ref say the flagrant was because there was no play on the ball. There is never a play on the ball when a team is fouling at the end of the game, why make that call now?

Disagree. You always have to make a play on the ball, even when fouling at the end of the game. Even if it's half-assed --eg, to slap a guy's arm while lunging in the general direction of the ball. Rodriguez didn't even make a half-assed attempt, he just shoved him hard from behind. I thought it was flagrant the second I saw it.
