BE teams going out early and underperforming in the Big Dance is not good for us. Down the road when the Committee is looking at bubble teams, they have a memory of which conferences don't fare well, and that could hurt our chances some day.

Go BE do some damage for a change. (Albeit Nova last year).

The flip side is the recruits also see 7 out of 10 teams got to the dance. How many other conferences got 70% of their teams to the big dance?
Next year, hopefully we get 9 out of 10 including the NIT. ;)

Three wins for Big East today. Would be nice to get a couple more tomorrow.
 
big east recovered from that providence debacle. Overall not a great first day of basketball viewing in my opinion

Hopefully tomorrow we see a lot of brackets get hammered with upsets

Watched with a buddy of mine who went to Dartmouth and always picks the Ivy school in the first round, and he was fuming.
 
"Elaine", or is it "Selena", got more TV face time during the Northwestern game yesterday than during a Seinfeld or Veep episode.

Nice story, good for the Gray family.

Bill Murray on TV a lot during Xavier games too. Good story there too.

Delgado with a stupid 4th foul on a jump shooter. The lack of intelligence defensively by virtually every player trying to block every shot is amazing. I knew the game had passed me by but boy I almost can't watch stupid play after stupid play. Time for Fun to tell me what great athletes these guys are and how I am still wishing for peach basket basketball. Another beyond dopey pass by Delgado followed by a equally dopey drive by Jones, one stupid play after another.

bad turnover by delgado throwing into traffic too
 
Carrington dribbles to nowhere until he gets the ball stolen, amazing. With a very experienced team SHU has just imploded. Cartington playing hero ball to turnovers two possessions in a row. Terrible
